This is an easy-to-make pie that is very simply a creamy, syrupy layer of butter, milk, sugar, and cinnamon poured over scraps of crust. This Cinnamon Pie will give you great comfort for sure.
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 3–6 tbsp butter
- Prepare the Basic Pie Dough for a single-crust pie.
- Prepare the filling: Stir together the sugar and milk, and pour into unbaked pie shell. Dot generously with butter. Sprinkle cinnamon to taste over the custard.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15–20 minutes or until crust is done.
