Crust

Basic Pie Dough for a single-crust pie

Filling

  • 1 cup brown sugar,
  • ½ cup white sugar,
  • 2 eggs, whisked,
  • ½ cup (1 stick) butter,
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch,
  • 2 tbsp milk,
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped,
  • 1 tsp vanilla.

Preparation

  1. Make the Basic Pie Dough for a single-crust pie, crimped.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, stir well, then into the pie crust.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
