It’s easier to crush the cookies if they are laid flat in a single layer.

  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies (if you use a large pie dish, use more cookies)
  • 4–6 tbsp butter, melted

  1. Crush the cookies by placing them in a plastic bag, pushing out all the air, and rolling over them with a rolling pin.
  2. In the pie dish, combine the melted butter and cracker crumbs.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the pie dish with your fingers or the bottom of a glass.
  4. If you are using a filling you’re going to bake, you don’t need to bake the crust first. If you’re using this crust for a refrigerated pie, bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

About Sabina Witres

I loved pies already as a kid. I watched my mom making them and usually I was the one who took the first bite. Now, I make pies myself. I like to experiment with ingredients, sizes and shapes. It's always fun!
